Job Description
SGS is offering an exciting 12-month Administration Internship opportunity for ambitious, career-driven graduates specializing in Human Resources or Business Administration. As an intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to reporting frameworks, record management, data interpretation, and daily corporate support tasks within a fast-paced multinational corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Coordination: Support day-to-day administrative functions, maintain accurate electronic filing systems, and prepare formal business documentation and correspondence.
Reporting & Data Analysis: Compile routine operational reports, extract data sets, and build structured, analytical spreadsheets using advanced MS Excel functions.
Information Assimilation: Research, summarize, and evaluate business metrics to assist team leads in decision-making and operational efficiency.
Communication Management: Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders professionally while upholding strict information confidentiality.
Digital Tool Utilization: Leverage modern workplace applications, including AI tools and business intelligence platforms, to streamline data processing workflows.
Process Support: Assist with logistics, supply chain records, and cross-functional HR/administrative project deliverables.

Requirements
National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
Formal qualification, certified short course, or demonstrable competence in Data Analytics (Advantageous)
Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID
Must be between the ages of 18 and 33 years
Must be currently unemployed and have NOT previously participated in a YES Programme
Clean criminal record
Willing and able to commute or relocate to Bryanston / Sandton, Gauteng
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and advanced MS Excel)
High attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and strong written/verbal communication skills
Familiarity with AI research tools and an understanding of supply chain/logistics fundamentals is a plus
